Our logistics team has been busy coordinating complex overland truck logistics again.
This shipment is for a large-scale commercial floriculture operation in Kazakhstan, a client whose high-value flowers require absolute, 100% light deprivation for successful cultivation.
For this client, “shading” isn’t enough—they need total darkness. We provided the ultimate solution.
Shipment Details
✅ Product: EyouAgro Custom Dual-Layer Blackout Screen
✅ Quantity: 80,000 square meters
✅ Shipment: 1x Large Overland Truck
✅ Route: EyouAgro Factory ➔ Horgos (Khorgos) Port ➔ Almaty, Kazakhstan
The client’s challenge is photoperiod control.
Many high-value flowers, like chrysanthemums, are short-day plants. Their flowering cycle is triggered by specific periods of uninterrupted darkness.
Even a tiny light leak from outside structures or between screen gaps can disrupt this cycle, delaying or even ruining the entire crop.
Our solution was a custom-manufactured dual-layer blackout screen.
This system uses two layers of fabric, combined with our specialized sewing process, to ensure zero light transmission.
This technical solution guarantees the client can maintain absolute darkness and precisely manage their flowering schedules for maximum profitability.
Furthermore, we managed the entire logistics process, loading the 80,000sqm of screens onto a dedicated truck for the overland journey to their Almaty greenhouse.
This direct route via the Horgos port is often faster and more reliable than sea/rail for our Central Asian partners.
Light leaks can cost you an entire harvest.
Is your current flower greenhouse shading system truly 100% effective? Or are you leaving your profits to chance?
