Ask: “What UV stabilizer compound do you use, and what is the cumulative KLY rating of your product for my location?” A supplier using quality formulations — Chimassorb 944, Tinuvin 783, or comparable — will answer specifically. A supplier relying on generic additives often won’t know, or will deflect to test hours without addressing the KLY question.

Ask: “Is the netting woven or stitched, and what happens to the mesh if a single yarn breaks?” This reveals whether the person you’re talking to understands the structural difference between Leno woven and Raschel — a difference that matters significantly for long-term field performance.
